Ancient Monuments

Whilst Syresham does not have any Ancient Monuments, it does have 14 Listed Buildings [Grade II], including The Priory, Manor Farm, Old College Farmhouse, and St James' Church. Vine Cottage was once the occasional resting place for travelling animal drovers en route from Wales to the Midlands and London. Home Close Farm, Home Farm and The Gatehouse [a building that belies its true age] as well as the Kings Head Inn and the one remaining thatched roof residence in the village at the corner of High Street and Abbey Road, contribute to a rich stock of typical Northamptonshire buildings.
