About

The Gardening Club meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. A variety of speakers come along to give talks and/or practical demonstrations. Trips to local gardens and garden centres are also arranged by the committee.

Tue. Jan. 15th Film – ‘Grow Your Own’ a touching and hilarious home-grown comedy set on an allotment with a host of British stars including Olivia Colman

Tue. Feb 19th Daytime ‘Snowdrop Walk, in Evenley Woods

WED, March 20th Following on the theme of woods, Chris Bazeley will give a talk entitled ‘A Year In The Life Of A Wood’ based on Whistley Wood

WED, April 11th Evening Visit to Barn Farm Nursery (with various demonstrations)

Tue. May 21st Annual General Meeting and talk by Banbury National Herb Centre

Tue. June 18th Sue Bedwell will talk on the subject of ‘Clematis’

Tue. July 16th Barbecue in a Syresham Garden

Tue. Aug 20th Visit to the National Herb Centre in Banbury in own cars

SAT 28th or SUN 29th Sept Visit to the Malvern Autumn Show

Tue. Oct. 15th A talk by Rob Jacobs , Horticultural Manager of Waterperry Gardens

Tue. Nov. 19th A demonstration of Christmas Floral Arrangements by Wendy Wesley and a chance to have a go!
